Uderzo, Albert & Goscinny, RenéSuperb original illustrat - Lot 57
Uderzo, Albert & Goscinny, RenéSuperb original illustration drawing in Indian ink, signed lower left. This historic and exceptional drawing was published in Record magazine in 1965. It's the quintessence of Albert Uderzo's genius, just as the two were creating the first albums in the legendary Asterix series. Albert Uderzo's genius lies not only in the quality of his line and inking, but also in his ability to capture Goscinny's main features and caricature them. Look at the position of Goscinny's hand, his smile that's both satisfied and teasing... you get the sense that the two men were one and the same, working in perpetual good humor! A real museum piece for any fan of Goscinny or the brilliant Uderzo! 16.5 x 14.5 cm
