MITCH ALLAND - Frog leaping [ex n°250/500]. In Frog Leaping, Mieczysław ("Mitch") Alland associates his photographs with the idea of haiku. As in the case of his images, the haiku poses the question of concentration and emptiness, rendering the sense of time superfluous. To a certain extent, it also addresses what is left unsaid, prompting the reader to make his or her own interpretation. As it should be, everything is linked. Time and place fold into a single frame. Again and again and again. Continents merge. Lions and dancers, salesmen and fishmongers, Buddhas and mannequins, they're all "here", they're all "now". / In Frog Leaping, Mieczysław ("Mitch") Alland links his photos to the idea of haiku.
