Furniture - Lot 80

Furniture From the Middle Ages and Renaissance in France - This is the first in-depth, well-documented book to present an overview of French furniture from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Until now, only specialized studies have been published, devoted to a specific category of furniture, a regional production, a master or a particular work. Jacques Thirion is himself the author of numerous publications on specific subjects, including engraved sources of decoration. The present work contains all these data, either the fruit of the author's own research or drawn from an abundant bibliography, accompanied by a wealth of illustrations, some of them previously unpublished.
