JEAN DOBRITZ (born 1956 in Perpignan). "Environment / Employment / Safety / Education / A / Table!". Preparatory drawing in pencil and ink on paper. 34 x 25 cm. Signed lower right. Dobritz has drawn for numerous French and foreign newspapers. In 1976, he began working for Antenne 2's "service générique" as an intermittent performer. He drew for several titles before being hired by Le Figaro in 1988, where he remained until his retirement in December 2016. Initially working on the opinion pages with the arrival of Frantz Olivier Giesberg in September '88, and then under Giesberg's impetus, all pages were opened to him. Nearly 30,000 drawings have been published, in around a hundred newspapers.
