PIRELLI / THE CAL. 50 YEARS AND MORE. Foreword by Philippe D - Lot 136
PIRELLI / THE CAL. 50 YEARS AND MORE. Foreword by Philippe Daverio (writer, art dealer and art historian, Cultural Director of the City of Milan from 1993 to 1997, Director of the Duomo Museum, Milan). One bound volume. Numbered AP 133 / 200 artist's proofs and 800 copies. 48 x 48 cm, 26 kg, 560 pages. In plexiglass case. Taschen, 2015. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Pirelli calendar, this important retrospective work reproduces all its editions, from 1964 to the present day. It includes numerous behind-the-scenes shots, the unpublished 1963 calendar and a selection of "censored" images. This is a rare copy, as most were donated to the brand's commercial partners.
