Sheet of 15 stamps commemorating the Apollo-Soyuz launch. 19 cm x 22.5 cm. Apollo-Soyuz (ASTP for Apollo-Soyuz Test Project) was the very first joint space mission between the Soviet Union and the United States, which took place from July 15 to July 24, 1975. On the American side, the crew consisted of astronauts Donald Slayton, Thomas Stafford, and Vance Brand. On the Russian side, astronauts Alexei Leonov and Valery Kubasov rounded out the crew.
